photography displays, drama productions and dance performances.

Event description:
This event will be a showcase of drama from service users
from Lodging House Mission and an example of creative Prevention
work from Glasgow Council on Alcohol. Guided tours of the People's
Palace will be available from 5.00pm - 6.00pm.

Event description:
Family Fun Day focusing on children and young people,
prevention, education and diversionary activities. As well as a
bouncy castle, there will be arts and crafts, face painting and a
five-a-side football tournament. The Primary 5 calendar competition
entries will also be displayed during this event.

MEN & WOMEN'S GROUPS COFFEE MORNING

Tuesday 13th 11.00am - 1.00pm

Blairtummock House Enterprise Centre, 20 Baldinnie Road,

Event description:
An informal awareness raising coffee morning which will
showcase the work of GEAAP's group work. This will include
individual art work, photography, poems and personal stories from
individuals and families regarding their recovery. Refreshments
will be provided.

DRAMA PLUS

THE CHARLIE CANNING CENTRE "GRAND QUIZ" OPEN EVENING

Event description:
An evening of social and health related activities
promoting GRAND to members and friends of the Charlie Canning
Centre. Programme includes line dancing, head and neck massage, a
quiz and prize bingo. Information on local groups and services. Hot
buffet and Refreshments provided.

BUILDING RECOVERY COMMUNITIES

Bridgeton Community Learning Centre, Dale Street.
Event description:
The Bridgeton family support planning group are holding
this event to raise awareness that recovery is possible and of the
work of family support groups. The aim is to reach family members
affected by a relative's substance misuse and provide information
on the range of available supports. Taster sessions and a light
buffet will be provided.

misuse.

WENDY'S WORLD

Lodging House Mission will perform an adaptation from the
book "Wendy's World", written by Peter McDonald and Possilpark
Literacy Group. The story is a modern day Romeo and Juliet based in
Glasgow's East End.

Homeless people and people living in resettlement and
other temporary accommodation.
